I, the world and the self

How would it be to live a life of love and divine support? A life where you feel held and supported in every action? It's where you don't fear mistakes - you are not judging it as right and wrong. There is simply learning, evolving, and growing. It's where the orientation of yourself is not towards a particular outcome. Who is wanting a particular outcome? It can only be the identity/ego which resists some outcome and reacts or resists against another.

The power of non-judgmental discernment

I started working in an ashram in South India for the last 2 days. The room that I was allocated had a picture of Jesus Christ, and no other room had this. This is not a religious institution, and Christ doesn't represent something religious to me. So I would call it Christ consciousness. It's the quality we can embody which doesn't judge or polarize another no matter how distorted it may seem. The Christ consciousness can see the truth in the distortion. I'll be honest - I was struggling with seeing the distortions in the spiritual practices here - how not to judge but yet at the same time see the truth. It's to discern. Discernment can see the truth and the distortion and hold it without condemnation. It's when we condemn a person or a situation as something, that we slip into judgment. By condemning it to be a particular way, we don't give it a chance in our mind to change and evolve.

But here is the crucial point to take on board - Every judgment is a self-judgment. The moment we are judging something external to us, we are judging ourselves to be an identity in relation to it.

A truly self-realized being is able to completely accept themselves and hence the reality they are in.

Because the self is the world and the world is the self.

The world is simply a mirror to reflect the self to itself. In this mirror, if there's even any tiny bit of identification, judgment, need, etc., it will be exposed for you to see. It's where you are not in acceptance of the reality and yourself in it. Thus, this mirror becomes a tremendous opportunity for you to see yourself and thus realize the true nature of yourself.

A funny synchronicity - just as I was writing this, sitting outside in the dark, one of the staff came and asked me if I needed light. That's it, every being in this universe are light carriers, they are the embodiment of the source light itself. No matter how distorted their actions might seem, you can choose to see the light at the core of them.

This is where life will start to speak to you on a deeper level. You will start to see more synchronicities guiding yourself towards self-realization. Life becomes a game of self-realization.
