What is true healing?

One of the most widespread misunderstanding in our world is about healing—the belief that we can heal another person. Many healing modalities have developed from this notion. It has taken over so much that in almost any spiritual place you visit, you can see hundreds of advertisements offering healing.
But let me ask something: if healing can be done for you,
1) How does that respect your free will and sovereignty?
2) How will you develop the qualities of discipline, focus, surrender and so on if someone else is doing it for you?
3) What is the necessity of walking the path at all then?
4) Does it not negate the purpose of the universe, the soul and self-realization?
Sadly, most of these healing modalities are focused on removing the symptom, which is not healing at all. By doing this, they end up doing a disservice to the client by stopping them from going deeper into the actual causality of the problem, which is a lack of realization.

Removing the emotional, physical, or mental pain is actually not healing. Those are the effects of true healing.
Any healing modality will be successful only if it combines self-inquiry and realization with the healing practice. Otherwise, they all end up being merely temporary solutions. And you know what? The problem will re-emerge in a different form next time—and it will be even harder to diagnose.
Practices like sound healing, energy healing, and acupuncture have their rightful place, but they should be combined with self-realization. That means bringing consciousness to the root cause of the problem.
We can hold space for the other, inquire with them, resonate our aligned energy with them, and in that way, take part in their healing. But any more than that becomes a violation of their sovereignty.
And you'll find it hard to do this unless you yourself have given up your sovereignty in some way.
Healing practitioners—people may come to you because they want a quick fix. Many are ready to give up their sovereignty for that. Most have already done so with religion, for example. But this doesn’t mean you have to provide that. We can show them another way: self-realization and empowerment, which is true healing. After that, you can focus on removing the symptom.
That’s why I don’t call the work I offer "healing" at all, but Facilitation—where we facilitate together self-realization and the emergence of the true self in
True healing happens as a result of this.
